IJS Global Appoints Silvia Rossi-Cortez as District Manager - Atlanta

STAMFORD, CT (September 15, 2008)—IJS Global, a global freight forwarding and logistics company, today announced the appointment of Silvia Rossi-Cortez as District Manager for IJS Global Atlanta.

In the new role, Silvia is responsible for developing and executing the company's corporate strategies and operations in Atlanta in collaboration with the global network. She will also play a key role in exploring market opportunities and enhancing customer satisfaction for the complete range of freight logistics services that IJS Global offers to its customers.

Silvia has a proven track record with 15+ years in the logistics industry, as well as excellent knowledge of the European and the South American markets, said Mickey Diaz, VP Global Operations & Service. Silvia joined IJS Global in February 2008 as a Route Development Manager and was then appointed as the new District Manager.

Silvia Rossi-Cortez has extensive experience in the transportation industry covering various aspects of our industry to help her develop her leadership skills. Prior to joining IJS Global, her experience included 12 years of management experience from marketing development to Branch Manager at an internationally known Logistics company.
