IJS GLOBAL ABSORBS ASSETS OF NI LOGISTICS AMERICAN CORP.;
GAINS FOOTHOLD IN US PACIFIC NORTHWEST

QUEENS, NY (September 1, 2005)— IJS Global Inc.®, a fast-growing international air and ocean freight forwarder, customs broker and non-vessel operating common carrier, said today it has expanded into the US Pacific Northwest by absorbing certain assets of NI Logistics American Corp., (NILAC) a full-service logistics provider with operational headquarters in Portland, Ore.

Under the transaction, all of NILAC’s operations—including employees and facilities—will shift to IJS Global effective September 1. As a result, NILAC’s customers will experience a smooth transition to IJS Global. The NILAC name will cease to exist on September 1, with the NILAC operation becoming IJS Global’s Portland office. In addition, NILAC’s corporate headquarters in Valley Stream, NY., a suburb of New York City, will close.

Founded in 1998, NILAC offers multi-modal shipping, customs brokerage, warehousing and distribution and trade consulting services for U.S. importers and exporters. It has an especially strong presence in trans-Pacific trade lanes, notably to and from China and Japan.

Portland becomes IJS Global’s Pacific Northwest hub and its seventh U.S. office. IJS Global now operates in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Springfield, N.J., Los Angeles and Miami.

“Bringing NILAC into the IJS Global family gives us a footprint in the Pacific Northwest, and solidifies our trans-Pacific presence by complimenting our operations in Los Angeles,” said John Gallahan, President and CEO, IJS Global. “NILAC fits the profile of businesses that interest us, namely well-managed companies that have carved out a product or geographic niche, enjoy strong customer support, and can benefit from the resources of a larger partner such as IJS Global.”

“This is terrific news for our customers in that our services will now be strengthened by IJS Global’s financial and operational scale,” said Gregory Gualtieri, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, NILAC. “Supported by IJS Global, we will be able to deliver our customers an even higher level of service than they are already accustomed to receiving.”
